A STRANGER IN MY OWN COUNTRY BY K.H.RAJA

[PDF] A short book of less than 150 pages, but very insightful in narration of the events that led to the fall of Dhaka and portrayal of those at the top who played with the destiny of the country in their personal quest for power.

A story of generals who took political affairs in their own hands and tried to solve the issue with hawks rather than doves(as is always the case), and politicians who tried to satisfy their insatiable lust for power by playing wrongly on the sentiments of the general masses.
K.H Raja in his last words of the book encourages Pakistani nation to analyse the tragedy of East #Pakistan in detail, recognize the mistakes made, and resolve not to repeat them.
I would have loved to quote the excerpts related to A.A.K Niazi but aren’t quotable..
