There used to be a world that lived in my mind that engrossed me in itself for years, which I used to visit when I would close my eyes providing me moments of solace. But as the days gave birth to months, months gave birth to years, it became increasingly difficult to remember how to get there. After months of separation, when I finally arrived there, all that was left were wrecked houses and people that had forgotten. I was a stranger to the world as it moved on to care for someone else.
